I'd suggest bringing in other songs more slowly as to keep things manageable and on beat - I usually start the other track at zero or very low volume, with only the mid or high range active, and then make sure it's on beat while bringing it in a bit. You're getting the hang of things though.

Aye aye! Thank ye for the advice. I usually end up with the melodies fighting each other if I let them go on for too long, but the advice definitely should help with the super bassline retardation. :3
